Microdermabrasion vs Chemical Peels
What are the differences?

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical resurfacing and is done without chemical formulas. It is safe for most skin types with little recovery time compared to chemical solutions. This non-invasive tool glides over the skin removing dead skin cells on the surface, helps prepare the skin for extractions, and improves skin texture, and product penetration.  Improvements can be seen to lightening age spots and hyperpigmentation from acne scars and melasma, even-out skin tone or texture, and reviving dull complexion. 

Chemical Peels are specialized chemical formulations using acids (lactic, salicylic and glycolic acids) and enzymes that target deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin, the building blocks responsible for firmer, younger-looking skin. Peels can improve acne scarring, fine lines, and wrinkles, reduce the effects of damaged skin, lighten age spots and hyperpigmentation from acne scars and melasma, even-out skin tone or texture, and revive a dull complexion.

​Professional Peel​ with Facial** - Advanced Exfoliation for Younger looking skin - 45-60 min
​​Professional Peels for smoothing, tightening, and brightening. Specialized formulations target deeper skin concerns such as acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. We recommend monthly treatments for maintenance, and 4-6 bi-monthly treatments for accelerated results for anti-aging and acne scarring, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, lightening and brightening skin tone and hyperpigmentation, and reducing scar tissue. Some peeling and purging may occur in clients for up to two weeks. Formulas for all skin types. A customized treatment for your skin type, includes: Cleanse, Skin Analysis, Extractions, Massage, Mask, Tone, Moisturize & Protect.  Microdermabrasion can be added at an additional cost to allow for better peel penetration.
